Tourist Season 2010 Missisquoi Museum Opening
The long wait is over! The Missisquoi Historical Society will present the amazing agriculture collection of the Missisquoi Museum at the beautiful and historic Walbridge Barn site in Mystic QC. The ribbon cutting for this grand event will be held on Sunday May 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Walbridge Barn.
The Missisquoi Museum at the Cornell Mill site in Stanbridge East QC will also be opening for the season and presenting the theme “Dust to Dust: The Abandoned Graveyards of Missisquoi County in Crisis” along with many of its wonderful heritage objects from our community. The admission price of $10 will permit the visitor access to the Walbridge Barn, the Cornell Mill and Hodge’s Store.
Located just off Route 202 along the Route des Vins, between Dunham and Bedford in the picturesque village of Stanbridge East, come and explore this jewel in the Eastern Townships.
Open daily 10 a.m. – 5 p.m, May 30th to October 10th, 2010.
