Welcome to The Eastern Townships Bulletin Board. This site was created to centralize and organize all the events that are happening in our beautiful region of The Eastern Townships. A one stop place to help you plan ahead with all the cultural, social, fundraising, and special events that Townshippers, as well as tourists, will enjoy. A special section on the left titled CARPOOL is for those who would like to share a ride with a neighbour or who would like to help our environment by carpooling. The departure town is listed first and the destination listed second. Thanks for visiting our beautiful region and for consulting these pages of events in our great region of The Eastern Townships. Please pass our address on to your friends so that they will be able to plan their schedule and meet you at these upcoming events. www.etbulletinboard.com Major upcomming events

24th of July 2010
Mark your calendars. The annual GEORGEVILLE-FITCH BAY ART FESTIVAL will be underway on Saturday, July 24. This year a new venue—the Nitsche Gallery in Georgeville—has been added to the other three sites—Georgeville’s Murray Memorial Hall, the Town Hall in Fitch Bay, and, along the route between the villages—the landmark Elephant Barn. The Festival is an eclectic feast of art: paintings, etchings, photographs, Chinese calligraphy, mixed media, sculptures, cabinet-making, wearable art and stained glass—the best work of the most talented artists in an area abounding with artists of all descriptions. The Festival runs until Sunday the first of August. All venues are open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The vernissages will be held Friday July 23rd from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you.
